Without more detailed info, im kinda wishing i would have bought an mpvi2+ with an older version like 4.12 from a private seller.
You don't have more detailed info? I was able to finally get access to the locked parameters using 5.0.4. The only thing I'm concerned about is, if by chance HPTuners gets a knock knock from some alphabet folks, are they gonna hand over their customer/user/tuner information and turn into government rats to protect their own hides? Along with possible information of the vehicles that have been tuned? It's kinda scary when you think of it. I haven't even synced my device using 5.0.4 yet. Hey HPTuners, can you all shed some light on this? I need to decide if should upgrade to MPVI3 or not. We all completely and fully understand if you all want to pleasd the 5th...Quote:

As of now, I'm not updating past 4.8.7
I went to 4.10.7 and fought with trying to VATS Delete an E38 for 2 days thinking I was overlooking something. Went back to 4.8.7 and changed nothing about the file, but just performed a Write Entire, and the car runs now.

Yes, please open a ticket and include the .hpt that worked and the .hpt file that didn't work and we can take a closer look. We haven't had anybody report said issue to my knowledge though so its likely an isolated one.Quote:
