Hey Guys, my name is Bob. I just recently ordered HPTuners and a wideband. Hopefully will be here in time for my B-day this weekend.
I've been lurking around this and another tuning forum for a while now. Finally deciding on HPT as there seems to be a lot of very knowledgable and helpful folks on this forum! I'm really excited about getting started, but have some trepidation. I'm sure I will look like a boneheaded nube as I get started and probably asking a lot of stupid questions! :o
I've read all the stickies and vow to re-read them all again before asking for help from all of you.
My goal is to learn and perhaps be able to contribute back to this forum sometime during this century!
Hello

Hello,
My name is Shane, I am from Colo Spgs, CO. I just ordered my HPT Pro and am getting anxious to get going. I haven't been tuning for too long but I have done enough to get by with what I was working with. Now that I have a more advanced / reliable tuner I am looking to learn all I can. Looks like a great community over here!!!
Shane-
Hi all...My name is John and I am from Southern California. I have a 2003 Silverado SS (AWD) that I use as a drag truck only (bracket racing). It is naturally aspirated and has run a best of 13.78 @ 95 mph with only tuning and the usual bolt-ons.
Hi bad a here also known as Speedy. I just found this site. I am looking for some help on a project I am working on. So I hope some of you guys can help.
my name is Paul and got my HP Tuner about a year ago. With alot of good help from some guys on another forum I was able to get the ball rolling but unable to spend the quality time required to really get in and do it. I think it's time to make another serious run at it.

I do ok with my 71 Riviera and tuning it's 455/4 quadrajet but I'm a noob to the work of tuning on newer cars. Ive bought a 97 Riviera DD that Im trying to tune and learn the ropes with before I start tuning on a '06 GTO. Im learning alot from everyone here and plan on continuing with that.

Hi, I'm from Latvia (Baltic states). I'm pretty sure I'm the first one from Latvia to use HP Tuners (and to tune LS1's at all) :)
The names dan..... I am also a migrant from the powrtuner crowd after loss of support and features... Im not saying it didnt get some of the job done.. not to mention specific 3800 forum knowlege that i wouldnt have gotten otherwise. I also sold it for what i payed and got 2 years of use (learing) out of it... Enough with that.... SO
Im going wideband as well.. which should really help get this dang thing dialed in. Its some thing i should have done long ago even thought many have proved you can do pretty damn good with our cars with the narrow band...
First thing i noticed is alot of support here.. and that will be a nice change...
secondly i see at least for the 3800 crowd there is debate of VE tuning. to do and weather it affects the tune as a whole... Ill post about my findings in the appropriate post later.. ;)
Im glad to be a part of the group here.. and know that when i need help.. someone will respond.... HELLO.
Dan
Hey all, the name is Alex. I currently own a 2000 Grand Prix GTP, I hate it. I actually bought an HPTuners to try and fix a transmission issue. After I get rid of this car, I will be getting an '06 GTO, so I'll still have use for the tuner. Looks like a lot of great support around here, so I'm looking forward to learning all I can about tuning.
