Aloha Gents..
Hey guys, I'm from the Corvette Forums, and am brand new at Hp Tuners.
I promise to go through the FAQ's and Stickys before asking questions, but please be prepared, as I'm not that smart.....;)
I have a highly modded LPE H/C Blown 05 C6 that I've had a custom tune done, and it's not all that great (the tune that is)...Which is why I'm here.
I under the impression that tuning takes years to learn. Being that this is day 3 for me, I've got a ways to go.
Aloha, and I look forward to learning from you folks.

Hey guys,
My name is Ted I'm from West Lafayette, IN and I go to Purdue. This is my first go around with tuning and so far I cant get enough! I've been reading all the sticky's and faq's and am loving every minute of it! My 2005 CTS-V has already been tuned professionally, but I see no reason not to tweak it every day until it is perfect in every season!
I went with the Pro Interface so I didn't have to mess with the PCM wiring to get wideband logs and datalogging is way easier at the road course without a laptop in the car!
Can't wait to pick your brains for some tuning knowledge!

Hello...
Hey everyone,
I have been reading on this board for a very long time. I finally did sign up a while back so that I could use the search function to make my research easier. Well I finally purchased my HPT Pro and started using it and checking it's functionality. The primary reason for my purchase was for my 06 Pontiac GTO, which I plan on doing a substantial amount of N/A work to. I also own an 07 Pontiac G5 GT that I thought I would get started on as I have already done several things to it and it currently has a tune by a local indipendant.
Well as I find out now these two have nothing in common even though they share the same VCM. Looking through the starting guides after adjusting for changed injectors, they all start to go into tuning VE. Now I fing that the G5 does not have a standard VE table but a Virtual VE, so the fun begins...

My name is Steve, I'm a member of PDXCGP, FTV6, LS1Tech, LTXTech, and Camaroforums.com. I am in the automotive program at Clark College in Washington, but live in Oregon. More of an old school engine builder, this computer tuning is very new to me.

What's up. My name is Joe. I got my HPtuners the other day. I got into this because I have a 02 TA that i keep modifying. Plus a number of friends that have the same horsepower addiction. So i figured I can save myself money along with my friends by starting to tune. I read a few stickies on here and Ls1tech.com, a few beginer guides. From what I read the first thing I need to do is find a mentor. Any takers?

Hey guys...new here...mostly I'm on regalgs.org or montecarloss.com. I own a 02 Regal GS (see sig) and an 87 Monte SS w/a worked 355 (ask for details if you are interested), The Monte is pretty much done drivetrain wise...not much you can tweak with a carb. The regal on the other hand has a lot more to offer and learn from with the new technology in these cars. I got HPT not to make the car faster, but to learn. I'm a computer geek, so I think it should be easy using the software at least...the automotive background (of PCM's anyway) needs to be ... learnt to say the least.
I've been browsing the forums for a bit, even before I got HPT so I can get an idea of how the software works...and here I am, now I have it.
Hopefully talk to you guys soon

Hi people,
My name is Colton & live in Polson, MT. I'm here to learn about tuning/hacking PCM's and any valuable Turbo knowledge. I like to make everything fast or better & I like electronics a lot. I'm a pipe welder & iron worker by trade & also have my own welding business @ home.
My goal for my truck is to utilize my Devils Own Meth inject kit & run @ least 10psi. I'm sure I need HP tuners pro & a wide band AFR with 0-5v output. I'm a bit lost after that, on the software end. Any help on the next steps i would appreciate.

Hello all,
Name is Jason, I have a 2001 C3 Lq4 AWD that I plan on doing some tuning on after I get some of this stuff figured out. So far I have used the editor to change the tire size and add e-fans. I also have a 2003 5.3L Tahoe and a 78 vette that is begging for a GEN III/IV swap.
My brother and I build a lot of trucks and install the occasional lift kit, so the ratio/tire size function alone is very helpful. All the other stuff I will figure out soon enough and get to the real tuning.
Cheerio.
