I recently paid for a full tune with him and my stock 2013 Silverado with a AFM/DOD/VVT Delete w/BTR Truck Norris cam and still having issues after 3 weeks of back and forth. He says it's mechanical like the cam is defective or something. BTR said that's highly unlikely. I did find out I had a misfire from another member which I believe I fixed, couple coil wires were not clicked in all of the way (must've happened inadvertently when I unplugged at the spark plugs to check torque on the header bolts). Unsure why my tuner wouldn't have noticed any misfires though yet the individual I sent a datalog to did. Do I take the cam out and replace it with something different? I really hate to swap out the cam and throw parts at it when it probably isn't the issue. Do I try a different tuner? I'd really prefer to take it to a shop and skip the remote thing. I offered to drive it to him (5.5 hrs) to tune it but he said that's not necessary because the outcome would be the same. Not sure what to do, but I'll have to make a decision sooner or later. I need my daily driver back!
