Unique vehicle I want to play with. A 2011 PPV Caprice Detective with a 6.0
Looking forward to using HP Tuners. Have followed you guys since 2001. Great work. I have worked on the L67 W platform and currently own a 98 B4C Camaro along with the 9C3 Caprice.
So far I have been looking for tunes to compare what has been done. Want to start out with exhaust and intake upgrades and to be able to tune accordingly.
Any help or guidance will be much appreciated. The engine is the L77 flex fuel version of the L76.

Hows everyone doin today. My name is Berto, I dont own hptuners YET. But I will in the future. I downloaded the demo version and started reading the manual. I also been researchin in google and on here, so when I do get the tuner I will know ( or somewhat know) what i need to do and how to go about it. The reason fo me wanting to get Hptuners is because I have a 2001 chevy impala ls 3.8l, with the cartuning turbo kit, TEP perfromance street/strip transmission, corsa cat back exhaust, and ported manifolds ( for now muahahaha). I am currently building a performance l26 engine. Here is my long list of mods.

L32 connecting rods and pistons (2006 supercharged gtp)
Double roller timing chain
balancer shaft delete
stg 4 turbo cam (zzp)
stg 4 heads ( zzp)
60-80lbs injectors ( 80lbs Depends if I can come up with a TT setup)
Meinze eletric water pump
egr delete
plog manifolds
bigger turbo
eletric exhaust cutout
bigger TB
HV3 insert


I believe thats it.
I figured I would get the software down the road after the build is done so I could do it cause its going to be a fully rebuilt engine, and I will have t break it in. So I would like to get air, fuel, and which ever elseneed to be done so it can run somewhat desent so It doesnt have a failure. You know wht i mean. I would hate to get the engine going then have to tear it apart cause a piston chipped or slug a rod.

Anyways I cant wait to get Hptuners and try it out. I just wish there was more tutorial vids on how to use the software, Im more of a visual learner.

Hi, I'm new to fuel injection and HPT. Having a lot of fun........but, what a challenge. I've learned a lot from you guys by just lurking and soaking up info.

Im Jeremy from Ft Myers FL. Somewhat new to tuning went to school for chassis and engine dynos in 06'. then didn't do anything with the knowledge till now lol. Been helping friends get better mileage and firm up the trans. but haven't done any full tunes yet still need help in that area but the forums so far has been helping me a lot. hopefully ill be able to help others once im on my feet. hello all, not the first post as i started looking for answers first but here now. Name is Dan and never used HPT or any other software and this is my first time tuning and looking very forward to it. I feel im more than competent and cant wait, but no matter how confident and competent i feel I know I have some simple newby question. My first is my own build. a 2000 z28 w a 6.0 and th400 swap. its a stock 6.0 w cam and forced induction through stock heads and intake.
