Fiesta ST 2013- MAF Tuned ECU

Currently (as far as I know) there is now "good" selftuning solution for Fiesta ST with non american ECU(AU, UK, EU).
This ECU is different from the american ECU(MAF based), and may be more complicated to tune as I read.
There may be other ecoboost cars(2013-) on the market that uses this ECU.
I think I speak for many when I say it would be great if HP tuners add support for this ECU.
(I have a big turbo modified 2013 fiesta and would help in any way i can)
I know COBB(and maybe SCT) supports the american ecu's, but for some reason won't support others.

Try reading it with the latest beta. Select TC-1797 as the controller, send the file to support.

ok i would do that but i have not bought the VCM Suite yet(I asume this is the one to use), Is there any dealer in norway?, maybe someone that
could read the ecu. Buying from your web shop looks like the easiest way to go...

Pretty likely it will be supported, but no ETA on when.

OK sounds good so i placed the order.
I know of fiesta owners from AU that
likely will also be interested in this, so i'll will try to inform them on the fiestaforums.

I got my hptuner today, but found out i do not have access to beta 2.25.
I emailed support about access, including my serial and a reference to this thread.

Just wanted to give an update.
I tried reading the ECU with latest beta. Did not work. I informed support about it.

This is an actual Bosch ECM. Is there any way you might be able to find one and send it to us?

I have found a used ECU for 2012 1.0 ecoboost engine, engine code M1DA, this ECU is a BOSH MED 17.2 according to the list from Alientech I posted earlier.
If you could read this ECU I would think you could also read ECU for 1.6 ecoboost.

From this link it looks the controller(chipset) could be TC-1767

At the moment i have a maxd out canned tune, it's works ok.

Hi VlaST,
The HP Tuners software is amazing - I have a supercharged Holden VE 6.0 running around 600hp and I have always tuned it with this software including their custom OS for boost.
I also recently bought a Fiesta ST (non-USDM ECU) which is stock standard and I can't wait for the car to be added as in my opinion there is no more comprehensive tuning solution out there. Let's hope Eric get's it right.
It's also great to see we have the MAF rather than the MAP based ECU as it is much easier to tune.

Hello this is good news. At the moment i run somewhere above 300hp with a canned tune from maxd out, and i'm happy with it. Love my fiesta.

We would love this as it's a very popular UK car. We are getting over 320 BHP out of this little thing over here. Decent scanner capabilities would be awesome.

If it's a TC1767 as posted before, there should now be support to read it as such. Has anyone tried?

Not lately, I could try again.

I like the scanner, very handy for comparing tunes, even if can't log knock.
I have not tried with the latest version

I tried today.
The scanner will read some SAE stuff but the edtor cant connect to it.

I sent the data to HP Support but was told they have no plans to support it at this time.

I'm just talking to your sales team and have asked if the Fiesta 1.0 and 1.6 Ecoboost Euro/UK are supported to which he replied yes ?

What I don't want to do is buy and then find out it's not supported ?

But if a did buy and read the the file would you be able to supply a definition so Euro/UK cars can be tuned

Tried reading with TC-1797 and TC-1767A. Used latest 3.7 beta
Se attached file for error info.
The ECU already is flashed with an OTS tune, so not completely original.

Reading caused dashbord to blink and make sound, this is normal and I have seen this with other programming tools.
