I can't edit Virtual Torque in the last two beta releases. No matter what I do, the numbers wont change. If I open the same file in 4.10.x, I can once edit Virtual Torque again.

Same here.
V5.1.5 BETA still has broken Virtual Torque Tables....
We are aware and are working on resolving the issue.
So this isn't something that just gets "unlocked" after going through the epa/advanced parameters class then? Haven't taken the class yet to know myself. Just thought this was part of it since a lot of other tables weren't editable anymore either until doing "this" class.
The non Beta 5.04 version doesn't allow Virtual Torque editing either. Interesting this is disabled and actually made it into the public release version 5.x. It's not like they will ever tell us, but I'm betting this isn't a mistake. There was just a firmware update to the MPVI interfaces too.....I wonder what sort of restrictions are secretly being implanted for later implementation.
where is info about this "class"???
New beta up with the fix
Hi Bill. So just to clarify. If I were to update to the latest Beta, with the passing of the parameter access (I did), updating of firmware on my MPVI2 W/pro upgrade to latest version, I will have access to previous removed parameters including "adjusting" them as long as I have agreed to only modify them as long as it does not break any of the CCA? As in it will work similar but better than suites of year(s) ago?

How about a link to the fine print before committing to 5.0?
I would be interested to see the T's&C's, in laymans terms in respect to what, if any information you have to report to ANY authority. Ownership, intellectual properties etc.
lol, post on a friday afternoon or evening, don't get a reply back until monday and the sky is falling? In any event taking the test doesn't add any parameters, it will allow you to adjust all of the parameters that were grayed out, nothing more, nothing less.
My bad. I apologize. My specific question is If I am using a mid version 4.xx and wanted to know if any or all of the items that could be "adjusted" that were no longer available in version 4.9 or so are now grayed out are now available as long as you take and pass the CAA course and enter in the code. I will now patiently wait. :)
Can you still use 4.x on another pc if you update one of your pc and mpvi2 to 5.x?
I don't know if it is just me or not, but on 5.04 I've unlocked the parameters and used it successfully. Then the next time I load 5.04 I can't change the parameters again. I look and my parameter access code is applied and valid with an expiration date in 2023. Yet I still can't change parameters. Last night I did everything I could think of, resynced interface, logged into the site to make sure the codes matched. Yet all of the sudden, no matter what, I can't edit Virtual Torque again. This is highly annoying.
In mine the tables or switches, went away then I downloaded the next beta, they were back but greyed out. I then took the test and could edit them again. Next beta they are gone again.
Why even take the test?
Can I get them back with user defined parameters?
Re-synced several times, the parameters are gone.
You have to go back to the tunertools site and add a new device to get a new parameter access code and re-enter that one into the new beta. Whatever they did broke the original code you were given so you have to make another one. You don't have to retest at least. Basically it is just like adding another laptop with HPTuners on it to your portal/parameter access. I had to add a third code since I use multiple computers.
I have the parameters in 5.04 they are gone in everything newer including 5.1.157 which I just did a clean install along with generating a new code in tunertools.
Not very happy at this point.
Is this still a thing?
Downloaded the latest stable version and now cant adjust the virtual torque.
Do I need to download the beta version to get it working again? tried going back the version it was (4.4) and it wont open the files anymore.
Still a thing, because there hasn't been a stable version released that includes the fix. The next release will contain all the changes made over time to all the Beta versions.

Has there been a fix for this?
Yes, long since fixed in the newest beta
So just take the test, acquire new device parameter access code and resync in order to change the virtual torque models airmass?
Only after installing the BETA as stated above was I able to make changes to the gen V virtual torque model, reading goes a long way only if applied!!!
Right click on the 5.0.4 installer and look at Properties. They haven't released a non-beta version since 9/2022.
