Twin 2.7L Ecoboost in a Boat

A little something different for you guys today. I have a 1987 Christ Craft 336 Amerosport with twin GM 454 engines that I am looking to repower with twin 2.7L Ecoboost engines. I am in the early stages of the project, figuring out the feasability and costs and the one sticking point I am having is how to make the 2015-2017 F150 2.7L engine run as a standalone unit.

As far as I know the engine just needs to think it is in a manual transmission car with 1 speed. I understand PATS needs to be disabled but I am unsure what else needs to be changed in the ECU for this to work. I know it can be done because Mars autoparts https://lsswap.parts/product/v6-ecob...nkey-swap-kit/ sells a drop in kit and the guy on this forum https://themustangsource.com/forums/...38017/index48/ swapped a 3.5l into his mustand with a manual transmission and has it running. He said that Matt at HPtuners helped him a lot on this and I figured this would be a good place to start.
