Sorry don’t have laptop to look at the tune but if you haven’t and car has headers desensitize the knock sensors by 10 percent to start. I might have mine around 15 now but 10 will help. I was on 110 octane when setup my sensors so know I wasn’t getting knock that was true kr. Also if too rich you can get it seen it many times on di more so 4 cylinder turbo stuff but on my own zl1 also when was still on stock tune and around 11.0.
I’m on 12-13 psi have headers no cats run about 12.4-12.6 on a fairly small meth system and 93 with a can of torco mixed up to 100 octane I’m about 26 degrees total in by 3800 rpm and zero kr shows up on a hot summer day. Manifold temp in the 150 range over that I pull additional timing. I have run up to 27 degrees when it’s under 120 manifold temp. Car just recently ran 6.80@110 in 1.8 off a terrible 1.80 60 foot up about 10 mph over stock on the same da day about 1000 feet here in Florida. So car is running very strong on a couple bolt ons and fairly low boost for what seen many try to run on these I’m stock cam stock heads and stock blower to give you an idea how well my current timing is working out. If your car is 93 only as long as manifold temps staying around 150 or lower 19-20 total in the power band while shifting should be fine if on 14 psi or less. Start on desensitizing sensors. I also run plugs 1 stage colder then stock sorry almost forgot.

I have something that can help with the GM torque model just pm me.

What do you guys think is a reasonable amount of total timing near peak HP on an LT4? The car has headers and a 2.30 pulley (11.5-12.5 psi), and is run on 91 octane CA fuel with a half bottle of Torco. That should be similar to 93 octane. At least I think.
I need to get motivated and spend some time on this thing, but I just want to know what is reasonable to expect. My last log showed 19.5 degrees at 5200 RPM, peaking at 21.5 degrees around 6200. This was with no KR or IAT retard. This is the RPM range I have had KR issues with in the past.
Thanks

thats probably about max maybe can squeeze 1-2 more with that lower boost then me. Im at 13-14 psi and run 27 total but I have meth on it and thats my e40 timing or 93 mixed up to 100-104 with torco or klotz which actually works a little better. With out the meth I was about what you are now 20-21 on 93 but 13 psi and around 130 manifold temp which plays a big part in how much timing it will take. I dont pull any timing for temps till 150 degrees I have a larger hx so my car tends to stay around 130 on quarter mile runs if its hot out.

Thanks. I just posted a thread, but what are your thoughts on lambda and knock on these things. I was in the .80 to .81 range, but just today leaned it out to .82. Do you think .80 could cause fuel knock?
