purchased windows from a friend who sold all his cars, its a mvpi pro ?.I cannot get anything to work, scanner or editor. it recognized the vehicle one but says it was offline, ive had extensive knowledge of ms products but this has me lost, can someone point me in the right direction ? thanks chad
fyi …. ive tried the software from the disc as well as the updated website 4.4 I believe....nothing, thanks
If you are just trying to get it to install:
I had the same problem and finally figured it out.
The problem comes from a new security feature in W10 from the April update called Controlled Folder Access.
To workaround:
Open the Windows Start menu, start typing controlled folder access and click the result when it appears (black shield icon).
Turn the feature off. Answer yes to any security messages.
Retry the installation.
Success!
Then you can turn the feature back on (because it is a GOOD idea!)
