Can I use a E38 from another vehicle on C6?

I have E38 from 2008 G6GT. Wondering if I can use on an 07 C6 by adjusting the calibration to C6 parameters?

You need to flash the computer with a GM tool for that to work. A V8 calibration must be put into the computer and then you can read and license it.
