411 ecm for 24x lt1 swap

I'm heading to the junk yard for a 411 pcm tomorrow. I want to use it for a 24x swap in my wife's 95 trans am. Truck pcms seem to be easiest to find. My application will need to control a 95 4l60e. If I get a truck computer for a 5.3/60e combo will it need to be flashed with an f body os to work? Also if I happened on an ls1/6 speed computer would that need. More than 2 credits to change to an auto? Pretty new to this, sorry if everyone know this already :)

Good luck the 0411 pcms will not control a 95 4l60e very well. Its recommend to upgrade to a 96 97 4l60e.
There is an exception

Torqhead makes custom 0411 pcms internally modified to control older 4l60es. But its a 500 dollar pcm with 5 year warranty i believe.

Yeah having an early 4l60e kinda sucks lol
