2005 C6 Timeout During Flash Now Wont Start

I was just uploading a tune to my 2005 C6 and ended up with a timeout error during writing, seemed odd since I had written to this car multiple times with no problems. Labtop battery and car battery were both fine. Went to rewrite and got an unregistered error. Now the car will not start at all and the ECM seems to be dead. I am leaving my battery unhooked for a bit and will try to start in a bit but has anybody else had this happen before? I am getting all kind of errors on the DIC and as soon as I press engine start the dash goes black. Please tell me I did not just brick my friggin ECM for no reason at all!

Sounds like computer is bricked.

When you press the start button, don't turn it back off...wait a while.

I've had a similar problem with my 2012. Once in a great while the write times out, I shut off the ignition. Wait a bit, then push the start button again and just sit there, waiting. After 20-sec or so, suddenly the dash lights up and I can try another write.

After leaving the battery unhooked over night thankfully I was able to rewrite the calibration to the car and it started. Talk about a good day!
