TBSS cluster

Is there a way to change the start screen on the cluster to say something else than Trailblazer SS?

Not with HP Tuners.

The cluster is a BCM function if I'm not mistaken. I've seen other messages there in the past but you can't do it with this.

That stuff is stored in the cluster itself, it's a programmable class2 device. For example, using GM tools and a TBSS VIN to reprogram an Envoy IPC gives the Envoy the 'Trailblazer SS' startup banner.

I suppose it'd be possible to grab a GM TIS flash file and decompile it, change the relevent bits, recompile, then figure a way to trick the GM system into flashing an altered file (fairly sure there are checksum verifications involved somewhere in the chain). There are people on this earth who can do that sort of thing but I get the impression they are thin on the ground.
