PE mode doesn't enable at defined MAP enable setting

Under Fuel > Power Enrich > Enable, I have MAP set to 85 kPa. When I data log, I'll see kPa go above 85 and power enrich doesn't kick in, and the ECM is still commanding stoich. This typically happens when pulling up a hill, mid throttle, low RPM, high gear. PE will eventually kick in if you keep depressing throttle, but there is still a point where the MAP reading passes the enable PE MAP setting. Can anyone explain why?

If it takes more throttle, then it may be waiting for that and not the map KPA.

Try going even lower on the TPS because the TPS setting is not the actual throttle position. The TPS value isn't strictly the current TPS value as you'd log in the scanner - It's actually the percentage of open throttle area minus the idle portion.

I believe you can log PE TPS and it'll tell you the % the PE is using to enter.

zero the Map Hyst, RPM Hyst, enable rpm and Throttle/Hot. This will put it directly MAP KPA based only.

It was the Throttle Hot settings, had to lower them way down. Cut them in half, then cut in half again. Zeroing it out is a good idea too. Thanks.
