2017+ GM Tuning - Important Information

Please note the following updates to the process for tuning 2017+ GM Vehicles:

Step 1: Download and install the latest VCM Suite 3.5 beta update available on your customer page*
Step 2: Connect the vehicle and read it.
Step 3: IF you receive a message that the vehicle can't be read at this time and to try again. Please wait at least 30 minutes and then try to read the vehicle again using VCM Suite 3.5 beta.


*If you need access to VCM Suite 3.5 Beta, please email Support. Make sure to include your MPVI Serial Number in the email.

Important Note Make sure you are connected to the internet for the first time you are tuning a 2017 GM vehicle.<sup>1

1</sup>This is required only for the first time you are tuning a specific vehicle using a specific PC. Other instances where you will need an internet connection include:

• Tuning a different 2017 GM Vehicle
• Using a different PC to tune the same 2017 GM vehicle you have already tuned before
