Viable Wizard - Special Function - None, Average, Slope, Shift (Math Parameters)

I have been reading several threads on this. The two that seem the best are listed below.

Anyone have a better link, training that explains Math Parameters, Variable Wizard, Filtering? I think I understand the basics, but...

I am looking for something more comprehensive than the above links.

Can these functions be nested?
