New Laptop not working with interface

Should be simple I thought, Got new laptop, downloaded and updated all software, can use software but CANNOT "see" interface. I believe I need to resync the the mvpi2?? I tried and all it says is to connect interface. Now everything works with my other laptop just not this one. Any ideas??? I opened a tickert with support but would like to solve this today thanks in advanced for any help

Did you install the MPVI2 drivers? If not please start there.

Haha that's was the first problem. I have done this now. my problem now says protocalled failed when I try to read the pcm. Also when I tried the scanner it said that it may need to be approved by hp tuner??

I just did a resync and I'll see if that helps me.
