I have used the drivers in the above post on window xp, windows vista, and window 7. All of which were installed on a 4 core processor with no problems. :)

where do you find how to connect to a vehicle and have it work. The drivers for windows 7 are installed. Do I need to use the disc any more? Does the interface automatically show data when it's plugged in to the aldl port.
Confused

www.hptuners.com/help is a MUST read for all new users, it walks you through everything from connecting to a vehicle to reading your pcm to flashing the pcm to using the functions in the scanner.

Can this be run from a MAC? Not all tech / tune ppl are PC ppl... I can boot into Windows... just curious
-
SCAHP,
You can indeed run HP Tuners on a Mac.
What I'm doing you can see in my signature.

Here is a question that I have not found and answer to - yes I am a new user to HPT, not to engine tuning.
Under what circumstances do you need to do a full write? If you enable fan control does this require a full write? If you disable VATS does this require a full write?
-
if you are changing operating systems, full write. All else, write cal only.
-
if your doing a full write on an 07 5.3 where do you look for the switch

when is the help section going to be updated to the new platform?

Late reply... but in case anyone is wondering, YES. You can run it via Bootcamp, or alongside OS X with VMWare or Parallels. I run mine on VMWare every day. No issues.
