Hi all,
I wanted to ask if anyone has actually found the limit of a HP75 trans.
My other question is, what do y'all recommend, HP95 swap or rebuild and strengthen the HP75? Whichever you recommend could you please explain your reasons.
I'll looking for options for my 19 Ram 1500. I'm looking to build a forged 6.4 for boost, but while I have the engine out, I'd rather do it right the first time and give the trans some attention at the same time.

give it attention how??? i cannot get anyone to sell me billet drums (or even red clutches) cuz i am just a drag racer... not a trans shop
what are you going to do with your boosted pick up truck?
I haven't seen much info on strengthening the HP75 transmissions so I wasn't sure if anyone had more insight into the matter or if people are doing swaps.
The truck is really my touring / off road vehicle but I'll take to the track on the odd occasion. I haven't had the opportunity to yet, but I do want to see what it can run in the 1/4. I've been looking at at HP95's but thought I'd ask if anyone is doing anything special transmission wise to handle more power.

At 7:30 in he starts disassembling a hp70. A and B clutch are already apart but they are not the weak link.
