I am about to buy credits, but it says to make sure your software has the latest updates.
I looked and I have 3.4 if I recall correctly.
Is the latest version 4 something actually better or does it have issues?

If you like the functionality of 3.XX you can keep it and the credits still work. You just put you new application key in and things are normal. The 4.XX version will let you open the tune repository files. I am sure it has more options but I only do Gen 3 stuff so 3.XX works great for me. Truth be told, I have 2.XX,3.XX and 4.XX versions all saved on this same computer. I just rename the destination files and when updating the old program is not over written.
we always recommend using the newest software as alot of older applications will not work with 3.x such as 2017+ GM.
Thank you gentleman. I’m just using it for gen 3 stuff. If I ever need to do gen 5 stuff, I’ll update or buy the newer setup.
