Tuning a 01 4.8 silverado pick up question

Wondering any suggestions or pointers this will be my first gm ill be tuning, been doing coyote mustangs for a bit over a year. anyways truck is stock minus cats been cut off and its straight piped all the way back and its on 37 inch tires on stock rims. its not drive by wire it has a throttle cable, was looking for any reccomendation on how to wake it up. thank you

4.88 gears for one, those tires are extremely heavy and oversized for stock gearing.

Otherwise nothing you do can really wake it up when it can't move out of it's own way. Past that read up on power enrichment settings, torque mngt and timing changes. All of this has been covered a lot by now.
