did you ever find a stock tune or a solution I cannot read my stock ecm either
Never done an L5P but, believe those ECM's are write only. Make sure you have internet on your laptop, and HPT will give you a stock file. Its not 'reading' out your ECM. Other's on here can confirm this though. Seem to think they were like the LML's in that manner.Quote:

if you swapped computers it wont let you read the original ecu. it downloads a file from the server. install the new computer, then do a read and crank relearn and you should be good to go.
