Mpvi 2 won't work with 2002 4.6 mountaineer.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any tip on how to get the mpvi2 to read the mountaineer ECU?

It gathers the info but, that's it. I just want to play with the ECU. Any help is greatly appreciated. JEAU453 is the OS that gets pulled up on the 4.6 mountaineer.

The website says that it is not a supported year.

HP says 2004-2010 are supported.

You'd probably have to email support to see if anything can be done but it's likely not in the cards.

Okay thanks. Kinda thought that they would've just took the is from any other 4.6 ecu and just modify the bit signal to unlock all the ECU model years.

I mean they have the 96-01 4.6 sohc on there for the mustang. Modular should be applicable to all fields not just engine architecture. Thanks again.
