Innovate lm-2
Innovate MTX-L Permanantly mounted in the vehicle with External output going into my HP Dongle. I use the LM-2 if playing with a car that isn't mine.
^this x 2
http://wbo2.com/2y/default.htm with LSU 4.9 sensor.
*Dirt cheap
*Narrowband simulation outputting to PCM
*Calibrated signal to drive custom dash mounted gauge
*High res output to VCM when tuning.
*Built in display (good for diagnostic purposes)
Has the mosfet driver for the heater element melted the case on your's yet timwds?
Not yet, I'll keep an eye out.
It's been hard wired in a daily for 6 months now so looking good :p
Folks, surprised no one posted yet. The default "best" WB is considered the NGK AFX, the last version, which now sells as Ballenger AFM500. It's actually made by ECM who manufactures lab grade AFR instruments used in the auto industry. It's functionally before form. You will find many of the respected tuners use them.
i have bought the lm2
can any one help me in setting it up and putting the input in to hp tuners as the
manual does not have any wiring colours for out puts.
any help when be good
thanks
if i remember correctly its the same as the innovate lc-1
From the centre wiring plug off the Lm-2 is about 14 thin coloured wires.
You need the lime green one and yellow one to go to the green plug on the side of the HP interface.
the lime green wire goes in the first slot on the top of the plug and the yellow in the 5th slot.
once youv done that you need to get it configured to your scanner.
I have the NGK AFX mounted and an LM1 and I can say the LM1 is much more accurate when compared with the wideband on the DYNO.
I've tried everything with the AFX from putting great grounds, to grounding to battery and power and still I would start knocking at 11.1:1 AFR which the LM1 shows is in the 12's so I've given up. Tried a different head unit even maybe the sensor is going but being that far off and I'm not getting any errors? I'm using NTK sensor for the AFX maybe I'll buy a new sensor and report back but the LM1 is amazing so I'll stick with Innovate works great and it's cheap.
Ohh I might have two AFX for sale if anyone is interested ;) the one that's no longer being sold.
I got it working
and the lm2 is very fast but i can not get it to read 11.2 and 12.5
it only reads straight numbers how can i make it read 0.2 it will read 15 at 14.7
thanks
Been a while, what?s everyone running now? I'm looking at the Bosch lsu 4.2
Any reviews?
Innovate LC-2 because it works trough serial as well so you don't need PRO interface.
