So I came across a car that was tuned with other software and it had the TCC on a switch (the switch interrupts the PCM signal). From what the owner said it sounded like the tcc was applying too early. Did some of the other software out there have issues making the tcc apply and release?

Well I?m gonna rip it out and make it right, just waiting on HP Tuners for more support on the scanner side. Cannot log the TCC state, I?ve emailed them and support is coming soon they say.
