First of its not for me.
Ok so I came across a vblog on YouTube where a man took his hci e85 camaro to the track and chronicled his journey. In the video he talked about his experiences and shows his data log from the track.
Anyways I noticed the data log was showing 30-34 degrees of spark advance @ wot to 7,000rpms. Seems high to me and I never seen a car keep making power to that point.

Wow that is a a lot on stock compression even with e85. Maybe he lowered the compression with his head swap? Still, seems like the wrong way to make power. Anything past 26-28 degrees is probably not picking up any power. But, do we really know what he's doing? Maybe he was trolling.
I?m guessing you were watching Jorge?s vlog. Yea when he was just Bolton with e85 he had 35 degrees of timing. I was cringing.
The MBT tuning I've done on a cam'd LT1 with cam and MSD intake with stock heads was around 26-27deg on ethanol. Beyond that it lost power/torque. It would take more potentially in lower gears accelerating faster but high gear with a eddy brake load the above was where it liked it the best. Being a customers car I left it at 26.

best is to measure on a dyno and monitor your torque.
