I downloaded a stock 2000 Camaro A4 tune and the software won't read it. Says I need to update the HP tuners software to a newer version.
Where can I find a stock tune file that will work with my HP tuners version? I'm not interested in updating the software... it's only 2 years old.
You need 4.0+ to read the repository files.
The software is basically updated daily, you don't loose anything going from 3.4 to 4.0, in fact you gain more tables on many computers.
You'd have to get lucky and hope someone posts a file on their computer that is still running an older version.
