8l90 shift pressure help

I am making changes to shift pressures to get some firmer shifts but i want to be doing it safely and not maxing out line pressures. i have found some info from 6l80 threads but most of the tables seem to be set up differently then mine. I am in the latest beta and under trans, shift pressures, general i have a max pressure input. Then you have the base line pressure tables under the same tab and then the upshift and downshift offsets. If i understand correctly the offsets are added to the base pressures but the total allowed line pressure is what it listed under general, max pressure? I have this set at 175 but if you add the offset with the base pressures they exceed this. Am i being limited to the 175 or not? Anyone have a safe number or recommended do no exceed numbers?
