First time i read the ecm in vcm editor i got a dtc of u0107. I went to the read dtc under the scanner and it cleared. I read it again and the same thing.
Is this a bug?
Once i clear its fine and it reads the program fine as well.
Its a 2005 escalade.
Not a bug.
When the other modules on the same bus as the pcm are told to SHUT UP during the read process they tend to throw comms codes such as this. Nothing to worry about and perfectly normal.
So just clear the dtc when i get done reading and roll on?
I just wanted to make sure there wasnt anything going on before i try to write back to it.
