am I right that you need 4 credits to tune the ECU then another 4 credits and a $199 unlock to tune the TCM? So $600 just to unlock the truck to tune it.

The whole shebang would be $600, yeah. A lot of people don't do the TCM because of cost and downtime of their truck.
the transmission is the whole reason these need to be tuned. :banghead::banghead:
