I am completely new to ECU or vehicle tuning, but am interested in tuning Volts (gen 1 and 2) and would like to know where to even start. There isn't too much information readily available about gaining access to VCM parameters, any help would be appreciated.
Here's a little of what I can tell you about the Cadillac CT6 Hybrid 2017 LTG 2.0T w/ EVT transmission. It's an upgraded version of the Chevrolet Volt. I have successfully tuned the 2.0T LTG engine; the power went from stock 265PS to 300PS (stage 1 I guess?). Installing a larger throttle body (factory is very restrictive), a downpipe and K&N air filter (duh, right.). As of this posting I haven't really looked or found information yet about the programming EVT, key word is "yet". Turbo can be upgraded; remember to consider the pistons and rods. Remember, also exhaust always helps to maximize your tune once you've got one you like, flashed.
