L76 E38 pulling timing on initial WOT

hello all,
Having some dramas with what should have been just scale tune for diff gears, vehicle is a 2009 holden ve ss ute that is pulling timing on wot for a second.
i have attached a log and the file out of the vehicle.
it does not do this when rolling the throttle on only with sudden wot, i have played with burst knock to try and eliminate this issue as well as TM with no luck.
At 37.2 seconds is where this issue is happening causing a nice big flat spot.
The car has a medium size cam, unsure of specs, an OTR and full exhaust.
the car was originally tuned in SD mode by previous tuner who made a dogs breakfast out of it (original file attached also)
is there anything i have overlooked?
Wideband was reading correctly just not in scanner, afrs are good.

Log all spark and torque management parameters. See where its going and what's kicking in

Random thing here, disable desoot mode. That will stop a lean spike when you stab the throttle.

You could try setting the traction control spark cut to disable as well.

where abouts would i find "de-soot mode" ?

Found it.

so update,
i did as above and the problem still persists.
at 37.5 you can see in the scan torque management is 27degrees, but where is this coming from?
i am lost, as far as i can see i have disabled every thing to link any spark control for torque events.
also as it goes with the dive, delivered engine torque also dives.
any help would be great guys.

If youre tuning ve you need to fail the maf and put it in ve mode only. Your current file still has maf enabled along with dynamic airflow. Also by going full ve only your spark will revert to the low octane chart unless you upgrade to a 2 bar os so youll need to copy over the high octane chart to it. I believe there is a ecm cut off where this doesn't apply but I believe it does for you. You might want to take a peak under fuel/cutoff/dfco/control method. Ive had that been enabled to cause some weird throttle issues. Not saying itll fix your issue nor did I notice the throttle drop off but rather something I noticed and could be something for you to look at. You also will probably want to take a peak at minimum spark under spark/advance (right side, bottom). There are a few charts that can mess with spark. Disable catalyst test as well.

The vehicle is running MAF.

If youre tuning maf you need to set dymanic airflow to 200(disable)/100(re enable) so it only uses maf the entire time. You have it in blend mode so under your 4k mark it uses ve and maf for fueling. You will get incorrect data to make adjustments the way its set up now.
