Lock the converter how early?
The only settings I saw for this are tcc apply speed in relation to the tps%.
Not sure if thats the right one or not. Have to wait for another reply.
Release as well as apply and
Tcc release with tps tip in low tip out low tip in high and tip out high with wacky numbers
Along with tcc steady state slip tcc ramp and that’s about it
Also do I adjust iat base or multi for intake air temp spark retard

no if u take it out the act retard function it will be global
go to the multiplier table and kick up the retard multiplier on the cells you have pinging
Honestly guys, I’m getting all kinds of PCM errors!! and during wide-open throttle in second gear after shift out of first. Sometimes The car just shuts down and over revs. it’s all screwed up ever since you forced her to run inopen loop. Switched it back to stock earlier and it didn’t do it so thats how I know it’s not the pcm. what should I do?
I will upload a picture of the PCM errors that my mechanic read earlier today when I get home because my cell phone won’t upload pictures to this website only the laptop for some reason I don’t know why wrong format for the file I think

Like honestly it’s a pity because the car is running fuc**** absolutely great! besides the fact that it shuts off on me out of nowhere. and then I have to let off and let it like relax for a few seconds and then I’ts fine. and than I get all the PCM errors
So I am going to take the stock file, edit it. copy over the spark timing tables from the other file and Come down a bit on the timing. Leave the afr alone. Leave the lambada alone. Ima Just add a little timing and adjust my trans and Drive it around tonight for awhile to see If I still get pcm error. And then I’ll get back to you all with my results.
I’ve noticed stock the car runs about 15.5/16 timing advanced up top b4 shift point. So I will try to get that at around 19/19.5 total advance until I get my catalyst issue fixed next month. Bec Even at 20.5 it pinged with ac on and anytime ambient air temps were over 80 degrees f. And I’m damn sure that the 4.6 should be able to handle 26/27 total advance before shift. Unless I’m wrong?

loose battery terminal on negative side..i could move it with my hand. fixed and secured. i will try again tomorrow ill just drive her around and see if i get the code

the knock sensor threshold its from 0-4500 rpm after that if your engine suffer of knock
no timing well be pulled out
knock sensor in this platform now that great
if there is knock you can hear it easily with that 4.6

I used SCT for my 2000 Crown Vic 4R70W. But those Crown Vics were different from 05-up with drive by wire, knock sensors, etc...
I spent the better part of 15 years trying to fine tune that 4R70W shift schedule, but in the end there's only so much you can do with 3 gears and an OD band.
How did u tune the 2010cvpi ? File ?
