Hey guys i have a 2013 equinox that has the 2.4 and i keep getting a check engine light po4011 on every now and then . Is there a way i can delete or stop this system from working . I have been to the dealer and they say system working right . I have the mpvi2 i think the ecu is a e39a
Are you in California ??? You don't want to mess with it cause you will not pass state emissions. If your not in California, check with your emission regulations if you need to have the exhaust air pump system.
If the State allows you one of the many emission checks to be "not complete", you could disable the engine code with HPT. As long as you don't have any other "not Complete" emission checks like Evap, egr, misfire etc.
I seen ports in the head get blocked with carbon all the time at the dealer. You have to pull the valves off and then the tubes to get to the ports. Shop air and mechanics wire to open ports.
