Using LS7 parameters in original LS3 tune for LSX

I was wondering if copying table values from a LS7 (2014 Z/28 7.0 liter), such as open loop fueling, airflows, some spark, Max Torque Timing) into the original LS3 (2013 SS 6.2 liter) could complicate overall tuning efforts. Sure, HPTuners allows editing many tables, but I'm sure there are a number of hidden or uneditable tables that may just conflict with the copied over changes made. My connecting thought was that this could potentially be ok since the CID is going up from 376 to 427 (bigger bore and bigger stroke); thus, some of the parameters from the LS7 tune would relate more to the LSX427.

So, main question: since the original tune was from LS3 (for the LSX427), keep that and just tune

or

copy over all the applicable LS7 tables into the LS3 tune for the LSX427 since the values may be more applicable to the torque/power production and larger air/fuel amounts used.

I know I'm probably "trying" to make things way more difficult than they ever have to be. Thoughts?

The LS7 heads and manifold are different than the LS3. I would definitely load your LS3 tune and the LS7 tune as a compare file and study the differences to see if they make sense to you. My guess is that GM has different teams of calibration engineers on their different engines so there may be major differences... and copying only some of the tables could leave you with a Frankenstein sized problem.

My whole question centered around if I'd be doing more harm than good.
