2006 300C 5.7 with COMP 268 cam.

I am very green with using HPT and would greatly appreciate any help with this tune.

The top end needed rebuilt when I bought it so I did like everyone else and swapped out the stock cam.

I decided on a comp 268 as a lot of reviews stated the car would run without a tune.

It has comp hi tech pushrods and valvesprings mopar MDS delete and 16 Hellcat lifters.

Ebay CAI, long tube headers no cats with a true bendz 2.5 exhaust no mufflers or resonators.

I cannot get the car to run long enough to log. it surges really bad and once in gear it dies.


any help would be greatly appreciated. I do plan to enroll in some tuning classes but I would like to drive the car this year lol.

So after reading 06300CSRT8 thread on NGC3 tuning starters guide I was able to get the car to idle long enough to log.

Thank you 06300CSRT8 I printed out your guide and read it over and over as well as used it to build the tune I am currently using.

The issue the car has now it that it will start perfectly fine and idle around 1000 rpm great for 1 minute 16 seconds then the car starts to surge and eventually stall.

I'm not looking for a complete walk threw just some ideas on what to adjust. Below is my cam card for the cam installed as well as the log and tune installed.

Got the car drivable somewhat.

At WOT what should the accelerator position D be?

The max TPS% I see is 86.7% at WOT

The car has a stock replacement throttle body on it.

I see your log and the first thing you have to fix the fuel trims beacause is too high numbers.

If you are in open headers you have to close as soon as posible beacause the o2 signals is not be right and is adding too much fuel.

In your log i don't see the oxygen sensors working the most important is the b1s1 & b2s1
