Unable to add/log cranking spark data from channel selector

I'm trying to add a channel so I may log cranking spark. What I want from the editor is under Engine, Spark, Advance, Startup, Cranking Spark.....the only channel I see in the scanner is Cranking Advance (from channel selector, under Spark and Ignition, Advance). I added this channel thinking I would see cranking spark while logging my startups....but no data is showing up, just stays at 0. I tried removing the channel, re-polling and adding the channel again as this method worked for other users/channel problems. This still did nothing. Also updated VCM suite AND did the whole re-poll/add channel thing...no change.

Then the more I looked through the menus and at the actual name of the channel "Cranking Advance", I started to wonder if this is not exactly the cranking spark I'm looking for. Is this something different that I'm not aware of? I may just be missing something.... Thanks.
