I have just altered donor vehicle harness for stand alone from 2006 Grand Prix GXP When I attempt to read e40 ecm I receive a protocol failure what I need to know is what circuits are required at OBD2 plug for reading of ecm. Im quessing I have missed something. Do I need can bus lines at OBD2 plug. I,m also not using tcm due to manual trans
