Connection error after update

I just updated to the current version 4.2.12 and im getting this error. Can someone help me out here?

I would connect to internet, go to Help in scanner or editor and chose verification code with mpvi2 attached. Close out, then pick Resync.

Yep, just giving a thumbs up to DGS... My MPIV2 had the same error "Unable to detect the vehicles diagnostic protocol". After a resynch all is good.
