10R80 - Shift timing, Verification time.

Hello there,

Can anyone explain me what exactly does this map do ?

By lowering this do you make shifting faster or is this only the timing window that the TCU uses to verify a gear change and if it goes further than this means it failed to change the gear ?

Thank you Chevy, so the title is missleading and this is very close to the naming ford uses in their own definition.

This map may somehow work as a parameter-factor on the "ramp torque rate maps" and result to the desired timing ( between some limits ofcource )
