I'm got my cam idling very nice
I'm extend the idle time before the op loop takes over and ulters the cam back to a smooth idle
Is there a way in a 2006 5.7 pcm
To tune off the open loop or o2 sensors until the car is in drive??
Hope this makes sense
My cam so far but once op loop kicks in car idles as if there was no cam

Have you played with (increase torque) in the idle torque spark drive table? Your PCM has a park and drive table.

no never touched them they are stock

191 ? is for the ECT and only applies to the rear O2 sensors, without affecting the idle.
The starting idle is linked to the VE tables as long as the front O2 sensors are not in use. By disabling these sensors, or by increasing the closed loop enable coolant temp to 90 ? or more, the engine will run in open loop (on the VE tables) permanently. But you must be certain that the VE tables are correct to keep a drivable vehicle. And consumption will suffer.
I do not think it possible to program an O2 sensor activation threshold depending on the speed.
You cant command OL at idle like you can on the GM stuff, if that's what you are trying to do.
Have you ever seen any settings in the Dodge calibrations to be able to do this? I haven't noticed it, but I also haven't really ever looked for it specifically.Quote:

close loop seems to kill the lobe sound on cams in 5.7 hemi
i can try this but I can't find an explanation on what these settings do
