Do we have the ability to change the valve body strategy in HPTuners?
I dont think so, I have never seen anything that indicates we could. I am curious as well though.
Strategies are ALL implemented in every calibration. You can select a proper calibration with Ford's IDS.
No big difference between those strategies - virtually useless for a tuner.
Does that mean the valve bodies can be changed out without updating solenoid ID with IDS? We put a late 14 F150 valvebody in my buddy's 2015 GT and we are wondering if it will have any issues. The car seems to be shifting fine but we loosened up the converter at the same time so we have a few things going on.
Don't bother with strategies if you have HPT - changes are minimal like 1psi less pressure or bumped ramp rates.
There might be significant changes between truck and car valve bodies tho - never tried this way.
