MPVI-2 "EDM styling light show"

The title is the best i could describe the issue in a short sentence. So the issue with my MPVI-2 is that if i plug it into the OBD port all the leds with start flashing in a random sequence. When it does this i VCM Suite does not connect but laptop does register it. If i unplug the device completely and just plug in the USB port im able to insert into OBD port and itll work fine. Has this come up as a issue? Im using beta VCM Suite. And have latest firmware update for the MPVI-2. This is also one of the very first ones purchased when it came out
