2008 Dodge Avenger 2.0
Disclaimer: I am a total noob what comes to tuning EFI cars.
I have a HP Tuners MPVI2+ and a 2008 Dodge Avenger with a 2.0 engine (basically a de-stroked version of the 2.4 engine and very closely related to the Mitsubishi 4B11). Manual gearbox.
Mods:
-Ported head, static compression 11,1:1
-Mitsubishi Evo X Piper cams 264/240 advertised duration
-Custom 4-1 exhaust header with 1 3/4 inch pipes
-2,5 inch exhaust, 100cpsi cat
-K&N panel filter and airbox modified
-AEM Uego wideband
-Bosch 267cc (@43,5psi) injectors. Stock are 252cc @ 43,5psi
-NGK Iridium plugs, stock heat value
Problems:
-Violent jerking between 1000-2500 rpm at light load (TPS under 30% or so)
-Runs very rich at light loads (wideband showing 11-12 afr, false or real rich?)
-Runs very lean at WOT (seems to target stoich, running 14-15,5 afr)
-Stalls after steady driving when the clutch is pressed in
Where should I start with the HP tuners? Already tried tuning lambda maps and got WOT okay but it made everything else worse. Now back on stock tune.
It only has a MAP sensor, no MAF. I am using 98 RON gas (92,5 AKI (USA) octane), 5% ethanol.

Also tried reducing and increasing light load ignition advance, both made it worse. Should also the higher load advances be reduced? Can post the stock maps if that helps.

do you have stock and Modified tune files ? I'll be honest here, I don't have a clue as to how to help, but if I see the files I can try give some guidance

Attachment 125341Only had a photo of the stock spark map at the moment, will attach the other maps tomorrow. Or the full tune files if that’s helpful.
Edit: Won’t let me post the photo. ”Invalid file” although it is a .jpg
Edit2: Attached the image compressed (poor quality) so it worked ;)
