I'd like to return my unlocked TCM back to stock. If I have GM re-flash back to stock, will the TCM become "locked" again? Im going to want to re-install aftermarket tunes in the future.

No, it won't become locked again, IF the factory tools are able to flash it at all. Not 100% about the T87A, but the other modules that have to be unlocked become incompatible with the factory tools once they are unlocked.
