Can the tuning software bypass DAS on Mercedes vehicles like it can with VATS on GM vehicles? I'm looking to do an engine swap and need to get rid of the DAS system.
All Mercedes-Benz vehicles manufactured in about the last ten years use a drive authorization system (DAS) to electronically validate the key(s) used to start the vehicle.
Anybody make any headway with this ?
I dont think so, mercedes DAS SYSTEM changed from FBS3 to FBS4 in 2015, maybe in the future can by Pass FBS3, but FBS4 wil take a log time.
