I'm confused about the tire size wizard. Here is a thread I already started on camaro6 that has a picture that explains my confusion. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=554047
Basically my factory tune has a different gear ratio listed in the fscm. When I use the wizard it changes the ratio of the fscm only. I don't know why it's different there or why the wizard only adjusts the fscm if I put something different for the ratio
To my knowledge:-
Go to edit tab, gear/tire wizard and change the tire size or gear ratio then apply it. Before saving look at the tune you will se multiple paramaters changed.
If it is an auto it will change shift speeds and converter lockup too.
Do not confuse yourself with fscm ratio.
I'm just curious on why from the factory the fscm has a different final drive ratio listed under the fscm. When I use the gear tire wizard it asks for tire size and final drive ratio. Say If I was to put 4.56 gears in my car using the wizard it only applies the change to the fscm and does not change the ecm or tcm ratios. May be a bug or something with the wizard.
