Bought Used

I purchased a MPVI2 used from FeeBay.
I want to start using it, but when trying to add it to My Devices, I get the "another user owns the interface".
I want to buy credits, I don't want to buy them and still be locked out...
I have used the contact us form and, (nothing) am I screwed blued and tattooed?

I am finally up and running!
The guys at HP are definitely looking out for their customers. The transfer of a unit needs to be initiated by the original owner, so if someone steals one out of a shop, they can't just sell it, or use it for themselves.
