97 Grand Cherokee LTD security removal???

Hey guys, i'm looking at owning a 97 ZJ with the 5.2 v8 Orvis edition (Limited) with the super fancy info center in the console.. This unit was bought by my buddy's dad a couple years back with a no start issue, which ended up being a fuse for the ECM.. Ever since then this thing will drain the battery within a week from what appears to be an issue with the security system.. I'm curious if anyone has a v8 grand that they could download and look at the file to see if there's a parameter for the security i can deactivate, or if someone just flat out has this knowledge on the subject already.. Any pro tips on getting some more HP out of the thing since it has a 7" lift and 35's..
